Choose the Right Bond for Your Concrete

Selecting the correct bond is critical to both cutting performance and tool life.

The harder the concrete, the softer the diamond bond.
The softer the concrete, the harder the diamond bond.

A softer bond allows the matrix to wear away more readily on hard concrete, continually exposing fresh diamond. A harder bond helps prevent premature wear when grinding softer, more abrasive concrete.

Lower/coarser grits provide more aggressive material removal and leave a deeper scratch pattern, while higher/finer grits progressively refine the concrete surface.

Single V-Segment or Double V-Segment?
